Seven Cougs balled out in Week 7 NFL action
Seven Cougs found the end zone, made the tackle, or threw the block in Week 7, and that is a damn fine Thursday stat line for any of us still refreshing the box scores on a Monday morning. You don't need to squint to find them. They are out there, wearing the name on their chest and the one on their back. We are not going to pretend every snap was perfect, because it was not. But when you watch a guy from Pullman read a blitz and put a linebacker on his back, or a receiver run a slant like he is still running drills on the grass at Martin, you remember what that place builds. It builds people who show up.
This is the kind of week that makes you check the schedule twice. It is also the kind of week that pairs well with a little context. If you want to track which Cougs are grinding through a full season, our piece on "Three Cougs chasing the ball in the pro ranks this fall" fills in the gaps. Go Cougs.
