Cougar Sports Returns to National TV with Saturday Visit from Oregon State
Saturday. National TV. Oregon State in Pullman. That's how you get a Coug's attention.
It has been too long since the football team had the country watching from Martin Stadium. The Beavers roll in for a visit that actually means something, and the cameras will be there to catch it. No more squinting at a laptop stream or refreshing a stat sheet. This one is on the big screen where it belongs.
The season has not been kind so far. The trip to Logan was brutal, one point, two weeks, zero mercy, as we put it in our piece on that loss. But Saturday is a reset. Oregon State is beatable, and the Cougs need a win that feels like a step forward, not a moral victory.
Off the field, the other programs are holding up their end. Volleyball knocked down Texas State and sits at 3-1. The swim and dive team opens the home pool slate Thursday against Seattle U. It is not all football, and that is the point.
Come Saturday, find a couch with good sightlines or a bar with the sound on. Watch the Cougs take the field in front of a national audience. It has been a while. Let's make it count.
Go Cougs.
