Tips for damaged hand skin

Last summer I (F18) worked as a dishwasher, but there was no option of using any kind of gloves, therefore my hands were constantly red, dry and sometimes cracked. I hoped that this would eventually fade away as I quit the job, however the reddish tone and dry skin where still kinda there. Things got worse over the winter due to the low temperatures (sometimes I forgot to wear gloves). Now my hands are wrinkled and darker than my forearms and I hate the way it looks. About a month ago I accidentaly burned myself with a cake pan and the reddish shade of the scar is pretty much the same as the one on my hands. This worried me whether I stand a chance to gain my normal skincolor back. It doesn't hurt, just looks unaesthetically. Any advise what kind of products or methods to use? Maybe panthenol? I usually use some normal cheap handcreams. I'm from Poland btw.
