Any idea how to make this cut less masculine

| (sorry for the repost, forgot to add the images.) So for a little context I get my hair docked every year and I like a lot of the hairstyles from the 80s. Last year I rocked a similar style to Eric Johnson in the cliffs of dover video. I like that feathery androgynous look. Well I thought this year I'd give it another shot and go for John Bender from the breakfast club. The style of the characters hair felt to me personally like it could go either masculine or feminine. I'm not knocking on the stylist at all, I really don't think it was his fault. I have an interesting hair texture. It's thick and very course and that really effects how the hair likes to lay. He did go much shorter than I had envisioned and there's no way around the fact that this is a men's cut. (I'm a 26 year old woman) It wouldn't bother me so bad but I just genuinely think it doesn't compliment my face well and unfortunately I'm just gonna have to let it grow out. In the meantime though is there any way to style this cut that would at least take the masculine edge off? It really didn't help that my coworkers absolutely roasted me. I got everything from John Rico to a young Ellen DeGeneres. [link] [comments] |
