Travel to Marshall Islands

Hi all,

I’ll be travelling to Majuro and Ebeye in the Marshall Islands for work for about two weeks, and I’m trying to plan the logistics around getting there and making the most of any free time.

I had a few specific questions I’m hoping people with experience in the region might be able to help with:

• Is routing via Honolulu still the most reliable way to reach Majuro?
• How feasible is travel between Majuro and Ebeye, and are there any realistic weekend trips from Majuro given flight/ferry limitations?
• If taking the United “island out hopper,” are there any stopovers that are particularly worth spending 1–2 days in?

Appreciate any insights especially from anyone who’s travelled to the Marshall Islands recently.
