Strasbourg, Amsterdam, Brussels & Western Germany

1 & 2 Strasbourg, 3 & 4 Amsterdam, 5 & 6, Brussels, 7 & 8 Düsseldorf, 9 Köln and 10 & 11 Aachen.

Top: Strasbourg and Düsseldorf. Strasbourg has amazing architecture and a lovely but not crowded vibe. I’ve spent in total around two months in Düsseldorf between this year and last year and loved it so much that I started learning German in August and considering moving here.

Mid: Aachen, Köln and Brussels. Aachen has amazing architecture and worth a visit but it’s small. Köln has some of the best art museums I’ve ever visited and the dome is beautiful but it’s crowded. Brussels has a great vibe and it’s not too crowded but not knowing French ended up being a real issue

Bottom: Amsterdam. Sure, it’s nice but massively overrated in my opinion. Extremely crowded (and I went mid March so fairly low season). The restaurants were good and allergy friendly - that was the highlight of our trip.
