Travelling Bosnia or Romania?

Hey guys,

me and my girlfriend want to make a two week vacation in eastern europe/balkan this summer. We want to explore a country, preferably by train because we are on a budget and cars are too expensive. Flights are pretty cheap to Romania and Kosovo and we heard some good stuff.

What can you guys recommend more? Or do you have a different recommendation?

We want to experience the country, the cities, the culture, the nature as well (hiking). We got around two weeks and we are on a budget. Traveling by train and bus would be the best option. Date would be the end of July.

Any tips and tricks for the countries?

Budget would be around 1500€ for us 2 excluding flights, but including food, accommodation, buses and trains and so on.
