Does this dress fit in as garden party attire?

I am taking my daughter to a princess ball this weekend. I bought this dress because it was $5 and it has sleeves. We are in a cold climate so I wanted something that wouldn’t require a cardigan. And I wanted something muted. This is all about my daughter this weekend so I didn’t want to stand out.

But this week we got the attire description for the party. “Grown-ups are encouraged to dress 'garden party attire', think florals, pastels, and light & airy fabrics.”

My daughter is wearing her winter Elsa dress. Does this dress work?
